"We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend." - Robert Louis Stevenson
It's been awhile since I carried a pack, climbed a summit and camped in the mountains. I didn't realize how much I missed it.
This past weekend, Eva and I headed out for an overnight climb/hike of Earl and Bean Peaks in the Teanaway Mountains near Rosyln, WA. The weather was perfect, the views were spectacular and the time that we spent together was full of laughter.

Bean Creek Crossing - a little too refreshing at 0900. |

Ascending the north side of the avalanche gully towards the south ridge of Earl peak. |

Higher and higher on the ridge to Earl Peak. |

On the south ride saddle before the final ascent to the summit of Earl peak. |

Ascending a short section of steep snow near the summit of Earl. |
A few things. 1) I want that green jacket. 2) You're a bean peak. 3) Likes hike soon.
